Standing in 17 acres of landscaped parkland, The Oaksmere Hotel is set in a unique Grade II listed building, created in two different periods. The first is a Tudor dower house, built in 1570 by the Cornwallis family, while the second is a wing added in 1850 as a rectory. After a long and eventful history, and a number of proprietors, this fabulous property was lovingly and painstakingly restored by its present owners towards the end of 2014, and now offers luxury boutique accommodation and great food in a friendly, traditional country house atmosphere.

A great spot for relaxing stays in the heart of the Suffolk countryside, The Oaksmere Hotel has just ten carefully restored and renovated rooms. Spacious and elegantly appointed, they all come with luxurious Hypnos beds with data points and an audio system built into the headboard, electronic blinds, sumptuous bathrooms, many with spa baths, and much more.

The hotel's restaurant serves delicious menus created by executive chef Alan Dann, with immense experience in the finest kitchens in France and England. There are also two bars and and a stylish conservatory, and guests can also enjoy meals al fresco in the beautiful sun-trap terrace created by the award-winning designer Thomas Hoblyn.

Room 8 Luxury Super-King:
Beautifully appointed room in the Tudor wing with a large bed, big TV and bath for sharing. Super king size Hypnos bed with zip together mattress that can convert to a twin. 46 inch TV with free Sky HD Sports and Movies, Nespresso coffee machine and mini-bar. En-suite bathroom has a very large illuminated whirlpool bath and huge rainfall shower above.
Room 6: Deluxe King:
For many the favourite room in the Tudor wing as it has so much character. Fully timbered room with beams extending around all the walls and through to the en-suite bathroom. dressing room with an illuminated whirlpool bath with shower above. Room 5: Deluxe King:
Low ceiling, exposed beams, brick fireplace and a large sash window extending down to the floor giving a great view of the terrace and grounds at the front of the building. Room 4: Deluxe King:
Cosy and luxurious room in the elegant Victorian wing with all the modern features guests could wish for. Two sash windows each having smooth electric blinds. The Cornwallis Suite:
The only suite in the older Tudor wing, with high vaulted ceiling, exposed beams, fireplace and electric blinds. The Hasted Suite:
This master suite has superb far reaching views over the gardens, terrace and drive via two large sash windows.
